2013 Next Time
Next Time in 2013 is vastly different than the prior year. Monsoon rains dominated harvest, compelling us to abandon about 1/3 of our harvest in the field. Those hard choices led to a super elegant pinot showing red berries, spice, and sandalwood on nose and palate. Mouth-watering acidity, clean, crisp linear form define this wine.
2017 Update: Knitting together, a few elbows and knees still showing.
2019 Update: More harmony, but still quite young. Singular focus like 2011, but not as laser-like. Raspberry notes really lifting, super polished tannins, good spice notes, earth tones coming through. Anxious to try in a few more years.
