Pinot Noir

2014 was a year of exceptional heat. Many vineyards suffered from sunburn, high sugars and falling acids, resulting in high alcohol, fruit forward, flabby pinots. Our decision to camp out on the wrong side of the hill paid dividends in spades. The 2014 pinot vintage is perfectly balanced, showing soft fruit, great acid, low alcohol, and integrated tannins. A rarity in 2014, and one to keep and enjoy for many years to come.
